Encouraging workaholics to take time off from work can actually boost productivity, energy and creativity when they return to the job. Nearly 662 million vacation days were left on the table by American workers in 2016, as found in an annual report by the U.S. Travel Association. The association leads Project: Time Off, a "national movement to transform American attitudes and change behavior around time off."Read more
Spring break is quickly approaching, and it’s better to prepare sooner rather than later. This time of year brings in many visitors and customers to the strip and surrounding areas. It’s a paramount time for Las Vegas nightlife and restaurants, it can either bring success or failure. Having the right marketing that embodies the time and season is key.
There are really no limits in the city of sin, and the same goes for marketing here. As long as your strategies are constantly refreshed, new, and current you’re on the right track. As we leave winter behind, we turn into the bright, sunny days of spring. Drop the darker colors and replace them with colors that burst with energy. All visitors are coming to enjoy the warm weather and beaming rays of the sun. Visually appeal to their senses with stunning pieces that instantly transport them to paradise. Paradise, Las Vegas that is.
Warm weather brings long, relaxing days by the pool. Perhaps you should start to consider updating your poolside menu. I suggest using a premium 11″ x 17″ Brochure. The reason is, it’s a very durable and substantial product that can bear the heat. Choose from our selection of Tri-fold options, Z-fold, and Bi-fold. There is something for every type of menu, no matter how short or how long. All brochures come with full 4:4 printing that can turn any dull color into a radiant one. This is a huge time for Las Vegas pools. Every guest is coming to finally dust off that cold weather. Now is when you should not only think about updating your menu but doing it in complete style. Intrigue your guests to buy, just by displaying what they “want to see.”
Fine dining can also take advantage of what is coming. Spring break means customers pouring into Las Vegas, and they only want the best when they arrive. Show potential customers your exquisite taste and spark their interest. The product i recommend using is our 3 .5″ x 2″ FAT Business Card. The reason is you want to send a message of luxury quality, and upscale dining. This card exceeds expectations and captures attention without hesitancy. Made with over twice the thickness of our Standard Business Card, this card is at 34pt stock! It’s elegantly substantial, with just the right amount of thickness and weight. I recommend using double-sided to give off a “complete” look. On the front of the card should be the name of the restaurant, location, and contact. The back of the card is entirely what you desire. Place a discount offer or simply your logo on a clean background or vice versa.
This last product is what Las Vegas is known for, and that of course is our nightlife. With so many astonishing clubs, it quickly has turned into a competition. If you want to surpass your competitors all the details add up. Just like fine dining, the nightlife of Las Vegas is meant to be luxurious and extravagant. To uphold the standard, every aspect of what your club represents has to be incorporated into your marketing tools. For this I recommend our 3″ x 3″ Circle Fat Cards. I love this product because it’s not too big and it’s not too small. It also has a very unique shape and look that can really get customers attention. It also has the thickness of a FAT card, which means you’re still getting that 34pt card stock. It will never look or feel flimsy, or of cheap quality. When you see most people promoting their nightlife, they use products that look cheap. This can turn quickly into a negative perception with customers. If you want more customers you have to sell “Vegas.” This means everything you do must be glitzy and beyond exception.
The New Year welcomes new opportunities, new beginnings, and a fresh start. Businesses should embrace this time of year with refreshing new marketing collateral. It’s time to get your customers excited and give them something a little unexpected. Updating your current collateral can help to grow, enhance, and improve your overall business. Why is this? People love new, modern, and up-to-date pieces. Customers tend to be more attracted and interested in businesses that are well polished and contemporary. It not only appeals to customers but it creates trust.
Just think about it, when you walk into a business you want to see a welcoming new environment, not an out-dated one. This goes across the board from clothing boutiques to restaurants. You can have the best business in the world but you will lose out on capturing your full potential. There is always room for improvement and now has never been a better time to get started.

Digital Printing is considered modern printing. Laser printing and ink-jet printing are commonly referred to as Digital Printing. An image can be sent directly to the printer using various formats such as Photoshop, InDesign, and PDF’S. There are many positives Digital printing possesses for companies that may be overlooked. Digital printing works by assembling an image and using formulas. Then the image is captured using pixels. The process of assembling the image and capturing pixels is called “digesting.” The digested image then can control ink, lighting, toner, and exposure to make the perfect image.
The Advantages of using Digital Printing in Las Vegas
- Customers love personalized information. If you wanted to send out a brochure or letter it’s great to personalize it. The only way to do this is using digital printing. It allows you to make changes and permits easy inclusion of a variety of data. Consumers respond well when personal touches are added and digital printing permits you to do so. This tactic is even better when done locally.
- Your business can’t wait forever especially in Las Vegas. With digital printing you can get a great quality product quickly. If you have your files ready and are able to get it to a supplier it can be processed without any other information. The ink is dry and ready to go after coming out of the printer. The turnaround time for digital printing is paramount for businesses that need their product fast. It’s even faster with Overnight Prints.
- If your products tend to change a lot and require specification changes it’s best for you to avoid large print jobs of brochures, booklets, or catalogs. Digital printing is ideal for frequent changes because it allows you make re-runs without having it cost a fortune of money and time.
- Digital Printing is best for short-runs. If you need prints anywhere from a few to a couple thousand this is the way to go. If you use offset the costs will be higher just because offset printing uses plates and requires more work.
What Digital Printing can do for your company?
If you have or own a business that is very fast-paced and need your prints quickly, digital printing is definitely for you. Digital printing has a shorter turnaround time than offset printing. You will be able to get a good quality prints in less time. Another appreciable aspect of digital printing is that every print will come out the exact same. All your prints will be accurate and you won’t be wasting any prints. This is because you don’t have to balance ink and water like offset printing requires. If you need four-color printing, digital offers great quality for a cost-effective price. Digital printing is good for any Las Vegas business that needs prints fast and is looking to save.
Just so you know…
- A study done by visual.ly states that by 2018 digital printing will have gone up by over 10 percent.
- Also it has been predicted that by 2018 the digital printing market will be worth $911bn.
There are four major advantages to using digital printing that you need to remember
- Due to minimal press setup it can save you time. If you’re from Las Vegas you know that time is money.
- If you need a short to medium print job this is most effective. Digital information is stored and it makes it easier to make changes. There is no need to print in bulk and have to throw away outdated material.
- There are no pre-printing steps for digital printing and no photo chemicals or plates used. It’s overall better and safer for our environment.
- If you’re looking to get the exact amount of prints necessary and save money. There are no minimums and allow you freedom.
One of my pet peeves is when a small business owner tries to pack everything they can possibly think of into their brochure, then they sit back and wonder why their brochure isn’t earning the return on investment they’d hoped for.
You see, they mistakenly believe brochures are printed to inform customers.
The fact is that brochures are not tidy little information-givers. They’re marketing tools and should be strategically designed as such. That’s why less is more when it comes to printing brochures: less clutter, more sales.
Your brochure should have a singular and definitive goal, and that goal should be designed before you jot down the first line of copy. Your goal might be to motivate customers to call you for a demo, visit a website, sign up for a newsletter, make a purchase or visit your retail location. You can answer all their questions when they follow up.
This isn’t to say you shouldn’t give any information; but it does mean you should only tell your customers what they need to know in order to be motivated to take the next step in the purchasing process.
Tell your customers:
- How your product or service will make life easier and better, and solve a problem
- Why your product, service and company is the best solution
- Any supporting data to that end
- Why now is the time to buy with a time-limited coupon offer
- What to do next
Anything else is extraneous information that gets in the way of your marketing pitch. Naturally, each of these points manifests itself differently for every individual company and campaign. One company might promote itself as trustworthy because it is a family business with decades of experience, while another in the same industry might promote its trustworthiness by explaining the benefits of a new cutting-edge technology. Put yourself in your customers’ shoes to determine what would motivate you to buy. That’s what your brochure should contain, and nothing more.
Ask yourself: Is this information going to help me make a sale? Why? Justify every aspect of your brochure by demonstrating how it will help you make sales; if a block of text or design element has no sales purpose, cut it. Don’t let your pride get in the way of profits.
Employ your graphic design prowess to draw customers in to your key selling points, offer, and call to action; but don’t clutter. White space is inviting space, it helps customers focus their attention, and it’s comfortable. It can be your best design and marketing tool because it frames your other elements, without the need for frames.
