Do Your Business Cards & Marketing Materials Need Revamping?

When was the last time you stepped back and really took a peek at your business cards, rack brochures, pamphlets and flyers?  When was the last time you really wondered if they needed some tweaking, some revamping and some fine tuning?  If you’re like most of us, that will probably be quite some time ago.  If you’re like most of us, that’s probably a bad, bad thing.  The good news is, this is a fixable situation.  The bad news is, you have to fix it.

That said, we just stumbled on an article that’s pretty darn helpful as far as the actual revamping of your aforementioned business marketing tools, whether it’s a business card, a pamphlet or even just your every day flyers.  The article mainly focuses on revamping and fine tuning your business cards, and even offers up 8 helpful ways to do so.  Head over and check out the full article, but for now, check out this handy paraphrased list:

  1. “Incorporate Foil Accents.
  2. Add Some Color.
  3. Use Both Sides.
  4. Try High-Tech.
  5. Go Vertical.
  6. Stick With Traditional Size.
  7. Give Your Card Texture.
  8. Get Social.”

There you have it!  Number 8 especially strikes a chord with me as it seems the entire world is going social.  By adding Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or similar details on your business card it shows whomever is holding it that you are ahead of the curve, or at least positioned nicely on it.  The world is changing and the more you can show your ability to adapt to those changes, the better off your business will be.
