We feel privileged to have such extraordinary and skilled women as members of our community. Throughout March, we will showcase women every week, and this week, we are delighted to showcase our customer, Alina Oliva, an Advanced Esthetician, and Clinical Hypnotherapist at Alina Skin Care.
Alina Oliva is an Advanced Esthetician and Clinical Hypnotherapist with a passion for helping others. Born in Ukraine, she moved to the United States 17 years ago to pursue her dreams. With a background in medicine, Alina went on to study psychology, parapsychology, spiritual healing, and hypnotherapy. She began her beauty career in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where she discovered her true calling – helping people feel and look beautiful.
Alina has always felt that her primary mission in life is to help others. She began her career as a nurse and later became a therapist, working with patients to improve their mental and physical well-being. As she gained more experience, Alina discovered the power of energy healing and skin care. She became a skin care professional and energy healer, combining her medical knowledge with her passion for helping others.
Alina firmly believes that people are connected and that by helping each other, we can change not only our own lives but also the lives of those around us. Her goal is to share her knowledge and expertise with her clients to help them achieve their goals, whether in their skin care or other aspects of their lives. Having worked alongside doctors for many years, Alina has gained valuable experience and knowledge that she is eager to share with her clients. Her focus is on providing personalized care and attention to each individual, helping them to feel their best and achieve their goals.
Alina is motivated by the happiness of her clients. She knows that when people feel good about themselves, they are more confident, more successful, and more fulfilled. By making her clients feel and look beautiful, she is helping them to achieve their full potential.
Who are your female role models and why?
JLO is my ultimate female role model. I admire her for her unwavering dedication to empowering women, as well as her exceptional work ethic that has enabled her to achieve her incredible body and maintain flawless skin even at 50 years old. I am in awe of her overall beauty, and she serves as a constant source of inspiration to me.
What advice would you give to women starting out in your industry?
My advice is to pursue what you truly enjoy doing. If you have a passion for a particular career or activity, and are willing to do it even without compensation, then that is where your true calling lies. The key is to follow your heart and pursue your dreams, as this will enable you to find fulfillment and joy in your work. By choosing a career that you love, you will be able to navigate the ups and downs of life with ease, and achieve success in a natural and authentic way.
The theme this year is #EmbraceEquity. What are some of the opportunities and resources you’d like to see in your industry? And in the world today?
As the theme this year is #EmbraceEquity, I believe there are several opportunities and resources that would benefit my industry and the world as a whole. In my industry, I would like to see more opportunities for women and other underrepresented groups to connect and network with one another. This could include events and conferences where we can share our experiences and learn from each other. Additionally, I would like to see more resources available for education and training, particularly for those who may not have had access to these opportunities in the past.
In the world at large, I would like to see greater efforts to address issues of social and economic inequality. This could include initiatives to support marginalized communities and provide them with greater access to resources and opportunities. I would also like to see more education and awareness around issues of equity and inclusion, particularly in schools and workplaces. By promoting greater understanding and empathy, we can work towards creating a more just and equitable society for all.
