Throughout March, we will showcase women every week, and this week, we are delighted to showcase our customer, Elena Iniakina, the owner of Pure Image Salon and Beauty Spa.

Elena Iniakina was born in Moscow, Russia, into a family of a theatrical actor and a circus actress. Elena’s love for everything beautiful was instilled in her from childhood through constant visits to theaters, concerts, art galleries, museums, and communication with famous theatrical actors, entertainers, and circus stars that attracted the girl to the magical world of art. This upbringing instilled in her a love for everything beautiful and a passion for the arts.
At an early age, Elena began touring with her mother throughout the circuses of the Soviet Union. In 1986, she stepped into the arena of the old circus in Odessa for the first time, marking the beginning of her journey as a circus performer. Two years later, in 1988, Elena received the prestigious title of circus princess in Moscow. This was a significant achievement for Elena, who had always dreamed of performing in the circus.
Later, Elena embarked on international tours with her troupe, showcasing her talents to audiences around the world. In 1995, she became Miss South Africa of the month, a testament to her beauty and poise.
In 2006, Elena relocated to Las Vegas, where she became the owner of the well-known Goldilocks salon. Fourteen years later, she opened Pure Image salon, which quickly became a hit with celebrities, politicians, and famous people in Las Vegas. Elena’s unique perspective on beauty and aesthetics has been the driving force behind the success of Pure Image Salon. Her passion for developing her skills and providing exceptional customer service has been the cornerstone of her success.
Despite the pandemic, Elena boldly opened the doors of Pure Image Salon in 2020, recognizing the importance of beauty and self-confidence in uncertain times. As the owner, Elena manages a team of exceptionally talented stylists and beauty specialists, all of whom share her passion for excellence. She is a master hairstylist herself, with years of experience in the beauty industry. Elena’s diverse background and experiences have given her a unique perspective on beauty and aesthetics, which is evident in her work at Pure Image Salon.
Elena’s client base is a testament to her exceptional skill and expertise. Her clients come from around the world and from different industries, from celebrities to everyday people seeking the perfect look. With her passion and commitment to her craft, Elena has created a beauty haven that has become a go-to destination for anyone looking to enhance their natural beauty and feel good about themselves.

Who are your female role models and why?
When I began my career in the circus, my mother was the person I looked up to the most. She set the standard for me in terms of beauty, grace, and artistry, and taught me how to be strong and determined. Under her guidance, I grew as an artist and a director.
Later on, my inspiration to become a stylist came from Dolores Kondrashova. Her passion for the profession and love for people inspired me to pursue this career path.
As a businesswoman and salon owner, my role model is Annee Nounna. She is a French woman who owns five salons on the Las Vegas Strip, and she is also the founder of the Annee devParis boutique and her own lines of cosmetics and clothing. Annee has been my mentor, teaching me everything I need to know about running a successful business and sharing her secrets to becoming a successful salon and spa owner. Her strength, confidence, and unwavering desire to live, love, and create inspire me every day, regardless of life’s challenges and age.
What advice would you give to women starting out in your industry?
To women who want to dedicate their lives to the beauty industry, I would like to say: never stop at what you have achieved! Believe in yourself! In life and in your profession, there is always room for improvement. Never envy, don’t look at what others have, the most important thing is that you can say that today I am better than I was yesterday. We make people happier, which brings love to ourselves and the world around us. Our profession is not the easiest, but it is beautiful!
The theme this year is #EmbraceEquity. What are some of the opportunities and resources you’d like to see in your industry? And in the world today?
The beauty industry is undervalued compared to other professions like doctors and lawyers. However, it brings confidence and inspiration to people. To restore human communication, beauty salons and spas can provide a platform where people come not only for their appearance but also for communication, like with a psychologist. Migrant women who lose their professions and support can find help in beauty salons and spas. The industry can exchange cultures, technologies, and products. Mass educational classes for clients and local residents can be implemented to talk about home care and techniques for creating hairstyles and makeup. This will restore communication between people and instill love for the world and people.
