Show Your Stuff by Submitting Your Business to the 2019 National Small Business Week Awards

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is accepting submissions again for this year’s National Small Business Week Awards. If you think your business should be considered for recognition because of an outstanding achievement in your local community or national economy then just hit this link to the sba.gov website to download the necessary forms. In addition to the forms you’ll need to fill out for consideration you’ll also get criteria and guidelines for submitting your business.

There are several categories companies can be nominated for including Small Business Exporter of the Year, Small Business Subcontractor of the Year Award, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Award for Excellence and the Graduate of the Year Award. Last year saw winners like April Lukasik, President and CEO of Bright and Early Children’s Learning Centers who received the Small Business Administration’s 2018 Connecticut Small Business person of the Year award. In total more than 10 winners were selected and award the SBA awards.

Applicants need only download and fill out the “Award Nominee Background Form” (SBA FORM 3300). Deadline for submissions is 3:00 pm EST, January 9th, 2019. Just go to the National Small Business Week Awards page on the sba.gov website, choose the appropriate Nomination Form for your business or the business you are nominating and download the PDF that you need to fill out and submit.
